Angela Cullen at centre of Lewis Hamilton reunion after……read more

Rumors surrounding a potential reunion between Lewis Hamilton and his former trainer Angela Cullen have intensified following a notable social media post. Hamilton is gearing up for his first season with Ferrari, a major career move that he confirmed nearly a year ago. The seven-time World Champion, with 105 race wins, will join the Italian team for the 2025 Formula 1 season, marking only the second team switch in his illustrious career after his 2013 move from McLaren to Mercedes.

As Hamilton prepares for his transition to Ferrari, reports have suggested that he will participate in two TPC (Testing of Previous Car) sessions in January, with a debut outing expected at Ferrari’s Fiorano test track in the week starting January 20, followed by two additional days of testing in Barcelona. Hamilton is currently taking a short winter break, having recently celebrated his 40th birthday on January 7.

To mark his birthday, Hamilton shared a photo on Instagram, showing himself standing atop a mountain during a skiing trip, with a caption expressing gratitude for the birthday wishes and noting he was already back to work. On the same day, Cullen, who was a key part of Hamilton’s team during his Mercedes years, posted a picture of herself on the slopes. In the background of her photo was a small red flag with Hamilton’s race number, 44. It remains unclear if the two were together on their skiing holidays or if their posts were coincidentally timed, but the similarity in timing sparked fresh speculation about the possibility of a reunion.

Cullen, who served as Hamilton’s physiotherapist and assistant from 2016 until early 2023, played a pivotal role in his success, particularly during the peak years of his career. Under her guidance, Hamilton claimed four consecutive World Championships between 2017 and 2020 and broke numerous F1 records, including surpassing 100 grand prix victories. However, Cullen parted ways with Hamilton in early 2023, following a challenging period for the driver, which saw two consecutive winless seasons in 2022.

In the wake of Cullen’s departure, Hamilton spoke highly of her contributions to his career. He described her as one of the greatest influences in his life, highlighting her hard work, focus, and selflessness. Hamilton also emphasized how Cullen helped make his weekends more peaceful and played an essential role in his career’s success.

While it is unclear if Hamilton and Cullen will reunite at Ferrari, the rumors have gained momentum due to their synchronized social media activity and the prospect of Hamilton’s fresh start with the Italian team.
