Aston Martin Formula 1 ambassador, Jessica Hawkins, is set to elevate her motorsport career in 2025 by joining the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The talented driver has secured a seat with Comtoyou Racing, where she will compete in the Bronze class of the prestigious five-round series, starting with the 6 Hours of Paul Ricard from April 11-13.
This marks an exciting progression for Hawkins, as it will be her second season competing at the GT3 level. In 2024, she raced for Beechdean AMR in the British GT Championship, securing two podium finishes in the Silver-Am class. Building on this experience, Hawkins will take on the challenge of the GT World Challenge Europe, piloting an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Her team for the season, which will include co-drivers for the endurance events, will be revealed later.
Hawkins is thrilled about this opportunity, expressing her excitement about stepping up to European competition. “I’m excited to make my debut in the GT World Challenge Europe with Comtoyou Racing,” she shared. “My previous experience with the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, especially during my time in British GT, and the opportunity to work with a well-established team like Comtoyou Racing, gives me confidence heading into the season.”
She also extended her gratitude to her supporters, including Arm and Valvoline, whose backing has helped her reach this stage in her career. The GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup is a highly competitive series, and Hawkins’ entry will add to the growing presence of women in motorsport. The 2024 season in the series was marked by notable performances, with factory drivers Mattia Drudi, Marco Sørensen, and Nicki Thiim securing the Endurance title, culminating in a win at the prestigious Spa 24 Hours. Hawkins hopes to emulate such success in her campaign, gaining valuable experience to progress in her motorsport journey.
Aside from her racing career, Jessica Hawkins has made a name for herself in the film industry, having worked as a stunt driver on the James Bond movie No Time to Die. She has been an ambassador for Aston Martin since 2021, and in late 2023, she made history by becoming the first woman to test a contemporary F1 car, the AMR21, at the Hungaroring, marking another significant achievement in her motorsport career.
