Black Sabbath have been immortalised in LEGO form at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham to mark their final hometown performance this weekend. The metal-music legends—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward—now stand tall as bespoke minifigures on top of a brick-built mini-stage recreating Villa Park to play their “Back to the Beginning” show on July 5
The stunning display, constructed by LEGOLAND Master Model Builders, features a mic-wielding Ozzy sporting his characteristic round specs and long locks of hair against a stained-glass window background—a cheeky nod to the band’s black makeup-inspired look . “Black Sabbath are bona fide Birmingham legends, and this seemed like the ideal way to celebrate their last hometown show,” said general manager Amy Langham at the centre

The “Back to the Beginning” concert is the first time in 20 years that Sabbath’s classic lineup has shared a stage together—and likely, a last time ever. The farewell show, set to begin at Villa Park, Birmingham, also features A-list support from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, and many more, with proceeds to go to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice .
The city is in celebratory spirits: members of the band were on Monday given the Freedom of Birmingham and featured in a dramatic mural on Navigation Street, as part of a weekend that will pump an estimated £20 million into the local economy .
