Broncos Quarterback Bo Nix Earns Ninth NFL Rookie of the Week Nomination
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has been recognized for his outstanding performance in Week 17, earning his ninth NFL Rookie of the Week nomination of the season. This marks the second consecutive week that Nix has been nominated for the award, following his impressive showing in the Broncos’ loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.
In that game, Nix completed 24 of 31 passes for 219 yards, throwing three touchdowns and achieving a passer rating of 114.9. One of the highlights of his performance was a game-tying touchdown drive that he led with less than 1:30 remaining in regulation, ultimately sending the game into overtime.
Earlier in the fourth quarter, Nix connected with wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. on a 51-yard touchdown pass, tying the game and showcasing his ability to make big plays under pressure.
