Lewis Hamilton set to end Monster relationship for Ferrari F1…read more

Lewis Hamilton is reportedly set to end his long-standing partnership with Monster Energy in 2025 as he prepares for a switch to Ferrari in Formula 1. The British driver had announced before the start of the 2024 F1 season that he would be leaving Mercedes, the team with which he has achieved great success since joining in 2013. Hamilton won six of his seven world championships with Mercedes, solidifying his place as one of the sport’s all-time greats.

Hamilton’s relationship with Monster Energy began in 2017, and the energy drink company continued its sponsorship as Hamilton’s career evolved. However, as part of the upcoming change in his F1 career, Hamilton is expected to part ways with Monster at the end of the 2024 season. The move comes after Monster Energy ended its long-term partnership with Mercedes, choosing instead to team up with McLaren ahead of the 2024 campaign.

During his association with Monster, Hamilton became a prominent figure in the brand’s global campaigns. One of the most notable moments in their partnership was the 2019 ride swap event with MotoGP icon Valentino Rossi, which took place in Valencia. The event, facilitated by Monster, saw Hamilton trade his Formula 1 car for Rossi’s MotoGP bike, offering fans a thrilling exchange of skills between two motorsport legends.

As Hamilton gears up for his new chapter with Ferrari, reports suggest that the energy drink company Celsius will replace Monster as his sponsor. Celsius, an American energy drink brand, already has a presence in Formula 1 as a sponsor of Ferrari and has also secured deals with several NASCAR teams in the United States. The brand’s association with Ferrari includes its role as a key partner of Charles Leclerc, who serves as one of their ambassadors.

Although no formal agreement has been signed yet, sources indicate that a deal between Celsius and Hamilton is close to being finalized. The switch in sponsors marks a significant moment for both Hamilton’s career and Ferrari’s relationship with energy drinks, as Celsius is poised to deepen its involvement in the sport.

As Hamilton prepares for the 2025 season, all eyes will be on his transition to Ferrari, a move that is expected to reshape the dynamics of Formula 1’s sponsorship and team partnerships.
