The Denver Broncos are evaluating several possibilities for the location of a new stadium, according to CEO Greg Penner. During a recent discussion, Penner addressed ongoing rumors about the team’s plans, confirming that they are actively considering various options for the future home of the franchise.
Among the possibilities under review is rebuilding on the site of their current stadium, Empower Field at Mile High. “We’re taking our time to analyze all the options and gather as much input as possible,” Penner said. “Whether that means staying at our current location, relocating to a different part of Denver, or even moving slightly outside the city to a place like Lone Tree, we want to make a decision that reflects the long-term needs of the Broncos and our fan base.”
Empower Field at Mile High, which opened in 2001, has been a beloved home for the Broncos and their fans for over two decades. However, with the rise of modern, multi-purpose sports facilities offering advanced technology, expanded fan experiences, and mixed-use developments, the organization is exploring how a new or upgraded stadium could elevate their offerings.
