The 700 Worlds Racing Authority (7WRA) confirmed that the lineup changes come after a combination of medical clearances, diplomatic tensions, and strategic reshuffling across multiple teams. Among the drivers stepping aside are fan-favorite Lio Karam of MarsTech Racing and Earth’s own Juno Takeda from Terra Velocity, both citing health concerns following a hyper-grav training mishap.
Replacing them are six rising stars from across the galaxy:

- Drake Volas (Titan Industries) returns from sabbatical to pilot for Takeda.

- Zahara Xil (Andromeda Apex) takes the place of Rom Daxx, who is under investigation for a violation of interplanetary race regulations.
