Ferrari has officially confirmed that Lewis Hamilton will NOT be joining the Scuderia for the 2025 Formula 1 season, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the seven-time World Champion’s future.
Rumors of a sensational move to Maranello had intensified after reports suggested Hamilton was growing frustrated with Mercedes’ continued struggles in the championship fight. However, Ferrari has now put those rumors to rest.
In a brief but firm statement, Ferrari Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur said:
“Lewis Hamilton is not part of our 2025 plans. We are fully committed to Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who remain the future of this team.”
