Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton has hinted at the possibility of teaming up with his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc for a movie appearance, following Hamilton’s recent venture into the film industry. This exciting news comes after Hamilton’s special tribute to the iconic film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, in which he re-created a memorable scene alongside actor Edward Norton.

In a recent video released on Ferrari’s YouTube channel, Hamilton shared his enthusiasm for films, revealing how Ferris Bueller’s Day Off played a significant role in his love for movies and his connection to Ferrari. “I love movies. I love film,” Hamilton said, reflecting on the impact the 1986 classic had on him as a child. He recalled that the film was the first time he saw a Ferrari, an experience that left a lasting impression on him. “I must’ve been five or six,” he recalled fondly.

To commemorate his arrival at Ferrari, Hamilton decided to pay homage to one of his favorite films by re-creating the scene in which Ferris Bueller and his friends take a joyride in a stunning 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. In the video, Hamilton and Norton take the wheel of the same car, revisiting the moment from the film with a modern twist.

Hamilton’s involvement in the film industry has been expanding over the past couple of years. He revealed that about a year and a half ago, he and his friend Timmy started a production company, which has allowed him to explore his passion for film. Their conversation eventually led them to discuss Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, further sparking Hamilton’s desire to merge his love for movies with his racing career.

As part of his production company, Hamilton is eager to continue exploring the world of film. This new venture might even include collaborations with other figures in the sport, with the possibility of a future film appearance alongside Leclerc. “It would be amazing to team up with Charles for a movie project,” Hamilton teased, leaving fans excited about the potential for a crossover between the worlds of Formula 1 and film.

Hamilton’s involvement in the film industry reflects his expanding interests beyond racing, and his connection with Ferrari has only fueled his passion for cinema. As fans continue to follow his journey both on and off the track, the prospect of a Hamilton-Leclerc movie collaboration is one that many will eagerly

anticipate.
