George Russell has expressed his confidence in Lewis Hamilton’s ability to bounce back despite the seven-time world champion enduring a challenging start to life at Ferrari. Hamilton’s switch from Mercedes to Ferrari ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season has yet to deliver the fairytale results some expected, as the Briton continues to adapt to his new surroundings and machinery. However, Russell—Hamilton’s former teammate at Mercedes—believes it’s far too early to count the veteran out.

He noted that Hamilton’s experience and racecraft remain among the best on the grid, and it’s just a matter of time before Ferrari and Hamilton gel. “It’s a process, and Lewis knows how to get the best out of himself and the car,” he said.
