Jota Silva is going through a dream phase, after reaching the Premier League, where he represents Nottingham Forest, and making his debut for the national team. The 25-year-old striker gave an interview to Atlethic/BBC East Midlands, where he revealed what it was like to “make a dream come true”.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is my absolute idol, for everything he did and for everything he continues to do now. There are no adjectives to describe him. For me, it was a dream to be called up to the Portuguese national team and to be able to work with him and other great players Portuguese. In England, Jota Silva works with Portuguese Nuno Espírito Santo, who has been an important pillar in adapting to the Premier League and the level of excellence required to compete there.
“It’s always important and great to work with a coach like Nuno. He’s a fantastic coach and it’s also my first time outside of Portugal. It’s great to have a Portuguese coach to help with that. He’s already helped me improve”, he concluded.
