A one-goal draw at Pakhtakor leaves Al Ain still without a win in the Asian club competition.
Leonardo Jardim’s Al Ain drew with a goal at Pakhtakor, in a game valid for the 6th round of the Asian Champions League.
The Uzbekistan team took the lead thanks to a goal from Jurakuziev. Al Ain managed to equalize with Rahimi’s goal in the 49th minute. Six minutes later, the team coached by Leonardo Jardim was reduced to 10 players, due to the expulsion of Yahia Nader.
This result leaves Al Ain in 11th and penultimate position in the West group standings, with two points, three less than Esteghlal, the first club in a position to qualify in the competition.
