Messi is part of the ideal team in the North American Football League

Inter Miami’s Messi, Columbus Crew’s Colombian ‘Cucho’ Hernández, DC United’s Belgian Christian Benteke and Los Angeles FC’s Denis Bouanga were chosen for the attack.

Argentine ‘star’ Lionel Messi was chosen for the 2024 MLS best eleven, in a vote that involved the media, players and coaches of the United States championship.

Messi, from Inter Miami, Colombian ‘Cucho’ Hernández, from Columbus Crew, Belgian Christian Benteke, from DC United, and Denis Bouanga, from Los Angeles FC, were chosen for the attack.

In midfield, there are Spaniard Riqui Puig (LA Galaxy), Argentine Luciano Acosta (Cincinnati) and Brazilian Evander (Portland Timbers).

And, in defense, Spaniard Jordi Alba (Inter Miami), Colombian Yeimar Gómez (Seattle Sounders) and Cape Verdean international Steven Moreira (Columbus Crew) were elected.

The best goalkeeper of the season was Kristijan Kahlina (Charlotte).

Argentina (Messi and Acosta), Spain (Puig and Alba) and Colombia (‘Cucho’ and Yeimar) were the three countries with the greatest representation in this edition of the MLS best team.
