The 2024 season was one of mixed emotions for Hamilton. Although he had some standout moments, including a victory at the British Grand Prix after a 945-day winless streak and another win in Belgium under controversial circumstances (after teammate George Russell was disqualified), the season overall was difficult. Hamilton’s struggles were evident, especially in qualifying, where he was often outpaced by Russell, losing the head-to-head battle 19-5. Despite his challenges in qualifying, Hamilton’s racecraft allowed him to recover on Sundays and demonstrate his impressive pace.

During his time at Ferrari’s Maranello factory, Hamilton met with new engineers, teammates, and posed for photos that have quickly become iconic in F1 history. His family also joined him during the visit, with his father, Anthony Hamilton, mother Carmen, and stepmother Linda all present. This was a significant moment for Hamilton, as he took part in a Fiorano test session, marking the beginning of his journey with Ferrari.
