The Portuguese under-21 football team will face France, Poland and Georgia in the 2025 European Championship, which will be held in Slovakia, according to the draw held today in Bratislava.
Portugal was integrated into Group C, debuting against the French on June 11, 2025, before playing on the 14th against the Poles and on the 17th against the Georgians, with whom they also faced in the previous edition, in 2023.
The Portuguese team will participate for the 11th time in the final phase of an under-21 European Championship, and has never lifted the competition trophy, losing the three finals it has played in, against Italy (1994), Sweden (2015) and Germany (2021) .
