The 2026 Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort has produced an amended final classification following several penalties issued during and after the race.
Lando Norris began the second half of the F1 season in impressive fashion, securing another dominant victory for McLaren. The result mirrors the strong form he showed before the summer break and strengthens his position in the championship battle.
Norris finished comfortably ahead of Mercedes pair Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, who completed the podium. Ferrari teammates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc followed closely behind in fourth and fifth, respectively, with only fractions of a second separating them from the podium positions.
Oscar Piastri finished sixth, while Liam Lawson was classified seventh after a post-race penalty. Nico Hulkenberg brought his Audi home in eighth, followed by Fernando Alonso in ninth and Pierre Gasly in tenth.
Further down the order, Yuki Tsunoda finished 11th, with Racing Bulls teammate Arvid Lindblad taking 12th. Gabriel Bortoleto was classified 13th for Audi.
Franco Colapinto finished 14th for Alpine after receiving penalties during and after the race. Sergio Perez was classified 15th, while Carlos Sainz dropped to 16th following a post-race penalty connected to his late-race collision with Williams teammate Alex Albon.
Several penalties affected the final classification. Colapinto and Lindblad were handed drive-through penalties for yellow-flag infringements during the race. Colapinto was then penalized again after the chequered flag for another yellow-flag violation. Lawson also received a post-race penalty for a yellow-flag infringement.
Sainz was penalized following his collision with Albon late in the race, altering his final position.
The Dutch Grand Prix also ended dramatically for home favourite Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver suffered a heavy first-lap crash and was unable to continue, bringing his final home appearance at Zandvoort to a disappointing conclusion.
